Tooth Fairy Island![]() However, here at Alameda and Pleasanton Pediatric Dentistry, we celebrate children's oral health all year long! Our staff visit schools to give education and fun hands-on exercises about good oral health. We use Tooth Fairy Island teaching modules which engage kids and excite them about how to maintain a healthy mouth and healthy body. We customize each presentation and activity according to the grade and time frame. Please feel free to contact us if you're interested in having our staff visit your school! Tooth Fairy IslandHow long are the lessons? Lessons run about twenty minutes. For the best educational experience for the children, we prefer to work with groups no larger than 20 students. We are happy to see more than one group during a visit. What age groups do you give the lessons to? Because we want to make sure that children receive this education as young as possible, our goal is to reach out to preschool children. However, we are happy to work with groups ranging from two-year-olds to young teenagers. The lessons are tailored to be followed and understood depending on the age group. How do I schedule a Tooth Fairy Island visit? Please call or email our office. Our trainings are interactive, fun and educational. The presentations include these topics and activities: What to expect when visiting the dentist
How germs cause cavities
Nutrition
Oral hygiene
Parent education
